What Parable Are You?

You got: The Prodigal Son

In this parable, a father gives his two sons an inheritance. The younger son wastes his fortune, and soon goes hungry. When he returns home, his father welcomes him back and immediately holds a feast, despite the protests of the faithful older brother. This parable is a reminder that there is always hope for redemption.

You got: The Good Samaritan

Like the Good Samaritan, helping those in need in one of your favorite hobbies. You seek out the souls who require assistance and stick by their side. You don’t care much about race, creed, gender, or any of that surface stuff. You’re all about seeing people’s internal qualities.

You got: The Talents

Three servants are given talents, or money. The first two invest the gift, and their master praises them. The third, however, has hidden his gift in the ground, and done nothing with it. This parable is a reminder to let your light shine, and to do good with the gifts you have been given.

You got: The Sower

The parable of the Sower tells of a sower who let seeds fall on a road, on rocks, among thorns, and upon some good ground. Only the seeds sowed upon good ground produce fruit. The parable is a reminder that the good things in life must be cared for and cultivated, or else they simply will not flourish.

You got: The Marriage Feast

Always put others first is the message of this parable. You are known for your generous spirit and tireless efforts at making those around you more comfortable. You like to talk and really connect with people, and you hate being rushed. Your tendency to go above and beyond means many people will remember how you changed their lives.

You got: The Mustard Seed

Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed, which starts as the tiniest seed, but soon becomes a full-grown tree, bigger than other herbs, providing refuge to birds and animals. The parable is a reminder to you, that small beginnings can have big, awesome results! All you need is to take the first step.

You got: The Rich Fool

Possessions are fun, but they’ll never own you. It’s just not in your persona to value things over emotions and meaning. You appreciate beauty, but you’re not a slave to it and that’s a rare thing in the material world.

You got: The Unmerciful Servant

In this parable, a servant is forgiven a debt by his master. However, the servant immediately turns around and demands that another servant pay him a much smaller sum that he owes. This is a reminder that you only reap what you sow, and that it is best to be kind and merciful to everyone.

You got: The Lost Sheep

Nobody gets left behind on your watch. Rarely paying attention to your fans, you focus on criticisms and always try to improve. You’re a work in progress, but if you take some time to reflect on your accomplishments, you’ll see that you’ve come pretty far.
